Advanced English 7
In this course, reading and English classes will be working together collaboratively throughout the year, therefore advanced students will be required to take Advanced Reading as well as Advanced English. This class will expand critical thinking skills, apply study skills, and extend the students’ knowledge of grammar and usage skills, vocabulary, writing oral communications, and literature through an integrated approach. Use of higher level thought processes and creativity are expected.
General English 7
Through an integrated study of literature, composition, grammar and vocabulary, seventh grade English is designed to encourage critical thinking skills and to enhance understanding of the writing process, usage skill and language.
